About Aquiller™
Aquiller™ is an out-of-the-box document and contract generation system completely integrated with SAP. Based on award-winning technology from Arch, Aquiller™ allows users to respond easily to changing business demands, whilst maintaining an auditable and manageable portfolio of letters and contracts.
Aquiller™ allows operators to easily collect and classify business content from across the enterprise before enabling this content to be assembled and merged with database values into completed Adobe PDF documents. Documents created with Aquiller™ can be emailed or printed as required, either directly or as part of an approval workflow. In order to support the generation of complex data-driven document content, the system incorporates an optional but powerful in-line scripting language.
Who Uses Aquiller™?
Aquiller™ is a cross-application solution designed for both continuous and ad-hoc use across the enterprise. This can range from HR professionals who regularly need to send a wide variety of standard letters to employees, to managers who create occasional correspondences with partners and customers as well as the legal department who need to raise and manage complex contracts as part of their day-to-day business.
With Adobe’s latest Rich Internet Application technology powering an engaging and intuitive user experience, the system avoids the need for extensive training. In addition, standard SAP authorisations are exploited to restrict system access to only those functions or types of correspondences that each user needs to do their job.
Aquiller™ and Adobe LiveCycle ES2
Optionally Aquiller™ supports the use of “Adobe LiveCycle Digital Signatures” to certify documents to the highest standards of digital security. Equally, Aquiller™ can be used in optionally in conjunction with “Adobe LiveCycle Digital Rights Management”, to control perishable documents such as price lists or legal papers that may need to be recalled or destroyed at short notice. The inclusion of such additional capabilities from outside of SAP truly brings the best of Adobe and SAP technology to the world of correspondence generation.
Getting Started
Aquiller runs on any SAP NetWeaver 700 system and requires Adobe Flash and Reader to be installed on the user’s desktop. From the administrative and installation perspective, Aquiller™ installs quickly using standard SAP tools and ships with standard connectors to SAP’s HCM system, thus minimising the customizing work required. Typical installation and technical training activities take around 1 week to complete, so with Aquiller™ organisations can be up and running quickly and economically.
Aquiller™ and the Environment
Being quick and efficient and by providing the option to generate documents in a purely electronic form, Aquiller™ already minimises waste. In addition, 1% of all Aquiller™ revenues go towards the planting of sustainable timber stocks around the world. Using Aquiller™ will make a contribution in more ways than one to restoring our forests and helping the environment.
