Ross-tiree in France

Ross-tiree in France

Arch is delighted to announce that we are sponsoring the rising tennis star Ross-Tiree Wilson in 2010. For the past 4 years Ross-Tiree has been the No1 player in the UK for his age and is considered a promising star by the media:

“The smoothness in his strokes, the one-handed backhand, the way he watches the ball are unmistakable; Roger Federer could not help be both honoured and impressed.” The Daily Telegraph

“Ross is one of the most exciting young players in Scotland” Judy Murray (Andy’s Mum!)

“One in a million” The Daily Record

Ross-Tiree trains both in Scotland and in France, where he has links with the famous Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Paris. With two British National Grand Prix U12 titles to his name, he has also experienced success on an international scale. He is the first British boy to win the Boulogne-Billancourt U12 tournament – renowned as the best U12 tournament in Europe! Previous winners include Richard Gasquet, Gael Monfils, Justine Henin and Amelie Mauresmo.

We are really delighted to be associated with Ross-Tiree and wish him the very best of luck in the future.

— Recent Updates —

Ross-Tiree spent the beginning of April competing in the Azores, then in Nottingham and then France.  These tournaments are all Tennis Europe U14 tournaments.

We are pleased to say that Ross-Tiree is now the highest ranking ’97 boy in the Tennis Europe rankings.  The summer of 2010 is all about putting his training into practise, progressing up the rankings.

Coming up later in April he has a week’s clay court training in Spain, in preparation for another Tennis Europe U14 tournament in Rome that Judy Murray is taking him to.  He will compete home or abroad for most of the summer as well!

It’s clearly a very busy time for Ross-Tiree and his family and we wish them continued success
